Hana: Hello from Japan

Hello, all,

How are you doing? I am doing very fine in Japan, well except for weather, though.

Weather in Japan is, as you may know, not like that in California, sunny and dry,
but wet and humid in Summer and cold and dry in Winter. Now, it is approching
to Summer, it's getting wet.

Somehow, this summer is little bit different from the other year. Usually May is
the one of the best months in Japan from weather standing point, but not this year.
It is very wet in this month this year. We have seen only 5days of sunny day, although
there is 'May Sunny day' phrase in Japanese word.

Anyway, I am doing very fine, in Japan, although really miss you guys in California.

Rainy season started?

Ah, looks like that rainy season in Japan has already started.
Since I (Hana) was born in California, I have never had rainy season
in Summer. Means that I do not know how bad that season is.

However, it is raining right now, and because of that, I cannot
go outside for walking.... Boo....

Within GW

Hello, all,

As you may know, we, in Japan, have 'Golden Week' holidays. In this week, there
are several national holidays, and additional private, usually company, holidays.
Especially this year, because those natinal holidays starts from Wednesday till
Friday, most of Japanese company closes their office from that Wednesday till
Sunday. And, some of company closes Monday and Tuesday, too. In that case,
there are 9-days off.

Luckily, my dad has that 9days holiday, this year, and I enjoyed that, too.
