Happy New Year, from Hana

Happy New Year!!

It's almost a year after coming to Japan. Time flys. Well, somewhat, I am
getting used to my 'dog' life in Japan. Japanese people are generally kind
for us, dogs, and they like dogs, too. When then see me, they always say
'cute', 'wow, a big dog', although I am rather small labrador.

Anyway, hope you have a happy new year!

Coo---ool, isn't it?

As you may know, it is very hot in Summer, unlike California.
It is really hot. Without having this big fan in front of me,
I can barely sleep.

Look at this, I am able to have cool wind from this fan by
myself, only for me.

Isn't it cool?

Hot Spa, Onsen, for dogs

Hello, all,

As you may know, there are lots of hot spas, Onsen, in Japan, where you can enjoy
hot spa, spelendid food and very relax atmosphare, even hot spa under the Sun.
At Onsen, we usually stay at 'Onsen ryokan', spa hotel. In most cases, those ryokans
do not allow dogs to stay, because their floor is covered by tatami, grass mat.

Then, what about me, Hana, dog? If I would like to go trip with my family, what
can I do? Is there any ryokan that allows me to stay?

Yeah, there is. Look at this, I am in hot spa, onsen under the Sun.
There are several ryokans where I can stay with my family. This one has a
heated pool, too. I really enjoyed staying this ryokan.

When my Mom and Dad bring something back to my home,
I am interested in what they bring back. Somebody calls
this is 'Lab Check'. Well, 'check by Labrador', instead of
'Laboratory check', though.
